Virtual Special Education Tutor - 100 Remote - Pennsylvania

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, ConnectEd Teletherapy is currently seeking a part-time Special Education Tutor to provide virtual services for K-12 Special Education students.

This position is 100% remote, and does not require any in-person services!

Special Education Tutor Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Special Education
• Pennsylvania State Teacher's Certificate
• Experience working with K-12 Students

Tutor Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing classroom or curricula topics and assignments
• Working with students to help them understand key points and ideas to drive home the concepts they might have learned during classes
• Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks
• providing subject-area knowledge and mentoring students on the strategies, techniques, and attitudes needed for successful mastery of the material.
• Providing students positive and constructive feedback
• Offering feedback on progress to students' parents and teachers where appropriate
• Consulting, as needed, with teachers and other classroom staff.
