Account Manager, Higher Education Job in Calgary, AB at Circuit Stream –

Circuit Stream is the industry leader in AR/VR education. We’ve delivered courses to thousands of students globally, trained many of the world’s leading organizations, and are strategic partners with the largest 3D content creation platform.

The Account Manager – Higher Education will be responsible for leading and managing relationships with existing university partners through ongoing check-ins, written updates, list and process management, issue management, marketing and event planning and ongoing awareness campaigns for Circuit Stream courses and programs. This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director of Marketing and connect closely with the Director of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Director of Marketing to plan and execute the following requirements:

Internally drive university marketing projects to promote Circuit Stream programs through each University’s channels

Provide marketing collateral for university partners to use on an ongoing basis

Communicate and get buy-in from universities on new courses and launch-plans

Plan local events with university partners

Understand and have input into university marketing channel budget allocations

Share co-branded marketing material and gain approvals

Understand high level digital marketing strategy and be able to effectively communicate solutions to university partners

Manage the relationship with each university based on the following requirements:

Meet with universities based on the schedule requested by each partner

Understand specific needs and processes for each university partner

Listen and respond to partner needs and requests; take immediate actions and escalate any issues as needed for suitable resolution

Prepare and share reports with partners on KPIs for enrollments, ensuring data security in accordance with university guidelines

Lead account related financial information, ensuring lists and invoices are prepared and paid in accordance with agreed upon timelines

Connect with the Director of Business Development to facilitate student funding opportunities with university partners

Work closely with the Director of Business Development for handover of each new university partner once the contract is signed and act as the main point of contact between Circuit Stream and the University from initial implementation through to ongoing partner relations

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in managing accounts or partnerships

Ability to translate the needs of university partners into meaningful actions that drive awareness, lead generation and ultimately more enrollments in the program

Previous experience in a Marketing or Sales environment, with a strong focus on customer or partner experience

Strong commitment to service levels and meeting requirements specified by multiple higher education partners

Experience in the higher education space managing relationships with universities, colleges or students is a plus

Experience working in a startup environment and/or with high tech company is a plus

Readiness to travel occasionally to meet with university partners or attend university events or industry conferences, etc.

Ability to operate independently and in collaboration with the marketing and business development teams in a hybrid work environment (2-3 days per week in the office and the rest working from home)
