Job Description

Reporting to the API, Partner and Franchisee Support Manager, the API Support Coordinator main objectives are:

Implementation support to partners/Alliances/Brands/Franchisees

Ensure the quality of data loaded in all GDSs and digital platforms to protect revenue

Ensure platforms are good quality, stable & bug free

Provide support to Travel Agents/Partners and countries

Major areas of accountability:
Set up of new Group entities and alliances in GDS database (e.g. Buchbinder and Silvercar), managing priorities and informing stakeholders on progress

Guarantee and maintain the quality of data loaded in all GDSs

Make sure our group systems and the GDS have the same data and ensure that international procedures and internal rules are respected.

Manage high demand at the beginning of the year for data changes in all GDSs, analyzing country requests by updating them according to the quality and needs of each GDS.

Manage bookings coming from GDS and any channels linked to GDS so that all bookings are performed correctly.

Provide support to travel agencies, partners and Europcar countries and ensure Europcar brand is correctly shown by Airlines, operator tours, TMCs and through the API.

Define the priority and manage incidents transmitted by our partners and countries. Ensure coordination to make sure booking solutions are available and fully operational.

Coordinate with franchisees to support setting up data flows enabling franchisee flows to be properly configured and to function properly, from reservation to delivery.

Support API implementations with new & existing partners.

Support on the testing of evolutions on all platforms using GDS or the API. Provide testing advice to the testing team and to Product Squads, and carry out expert testing and tests in production.

Provide inputs to the Product Squads and Architects on how GDS functions, to help them when they are conceiving evolutions.

Keep GDS FAQ & training material up to date, to help partners and colleagues understand how we work with GDS.

Internal & External Relationships

Internal : Europcar Mobility Group countries, GDS Helpdesks, Customer Contact Centres, stations, Fleet team, Partnerships Team, Commercial Teams, IT, Shared Services Center, Management Information.

External : Partners, GDS (Amadeus, Sabre et Travelport), Travel agencies, Tour Operators/Brokers.


Previous experience

Client management experience

Experience within an International environment

Experience with Greenway (is a plus)

Education level / certificates

Bachelor degree (or equivalent)


English fluent (working language)

French is a plus

Computer skills and software used

Good knowledge of all universal softwares

Full knowledge of GDS

Familiar with API

Pack Office and Google suite

Knowledge of our digital ecosystem, and car rental business knowledge are a plus

Personal characteristics

Ability to work effectively with technical teams

Organisation skills, rigour and attention to details

Good interpersonal skills and ability to explain complex issues in a simple way
