Data Analyst (Workforce) Job in Bristol at Health Education England –
You will have the ability to identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems; manage, clean, abstract, and aggregate data alongside a range of analytical studies on that data; manipulate and link different data sets; summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users.
The Data Analyst is a key member of the Workforce team in HEE – South West. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data collection, analysis and reporting to enable decision making that leads to the development of effective strategic workforce plans, supporting changes to the workforce and improvements to patient care. Although beneficial the successful candidate does not need a background in workforce analysis, planning or the health service. However, you will need to demonstrate effective data and analytical skills.

The team provides information and intelligence to a range of internal and external stakeholders. We do this by providing quality and up to date analysis and modelling on data and information extracted from a variety of sources including ESR Data Warehouse. You must be able to travel to meet the requirements of the role, incl. limited travel across the region.
Applicants will start at the bottom of Band 5 with a full-time salary of £25,654, with a pay step increase after qualifying years in service. Salaries are offered in accordance with NHS T&C’s and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.
