Open Hearts Childcare is looking for fun and dedicated teachers. Our mission is to cultivate whole children by holding all adults accountable at all times. We take pride in helping to raise emotionally intelligent children in addition to ensuring they are independent, free thinkers, and ready for the real world- not just kindergarten. Duties

Floating Teachers will be responsible for different classrooms each day, so please be comfortable with all age groups from infants-preschool. You will be required to upkeep the classroom that you are visiting each day. You will be asked to implement play based lesson plans based on given themes that have been prepared by the Lead Teacher. You will also be asked to update our classroom app throughout the day to keep parents informed. All staff members work together to keep the center cleaned, so you will be asked to complete each Lead Teacher’s side job on the day you are covering their class.

Requirements

To apply you

• must be 18 years or older
• must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• must be able to pass a physical
• 16 and 17 year olds may apply, but they ,must be actively enrolled in an early childhood course recognized by the state.
• must be able to take direction well
• must be able to get to work on time for scheduled shifts
