Lead the implementation of an annual work program for Study Tasmania, Department of State Growth, incorporating a range of initiatives designed to promote the international education sector, partners and Study Tasmania brand and support student experience, wellbeing and community engagement.
Lead and contribute to the development and implementation of policies, strategies and marketing and communications in relation to international education.
Develop strategic approaches to address risks and issues impacting the international education sector in Tasmania, including matters associated with skilled migration pathways for international students, market diversification and student experience.
Lead, manage, support and develop Study Tasmania staff engaged in the delivery of the work program.
Foster productive working relationships with a range of state, national and international stakeholders and contacts, including international education providers, Austrade, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and other organisations.
Represent Study Tasmania and the Tasmanian Government at a range of state, national and international events, expos and forums.
Prepare comprehensive, accurate and timely responses to ministerial requests, correspondence and briefs and lead or provide a significant contribution to the development of strategies and submissions.
