This position is employed seasonally, April through October. Hours of work will vary each week from a minimum of 16 to a maximum of 40 hours. Evenings, holidays and all weekend shifts are mandatory.
Reporting to the Marina Supervisor, the Dock Hand staff is responsible for ensuring Marina rules and regulations are adhered to while maintaining excellent customer service.
Note: Effective December 16, 2021, the Municipality of Leamington’s health and safety standard requires all employees to have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at least two weeks prior to entering or attending the workplace.

Evenings and weekend work will be required. Students must be available to work scheduled shifts.
A satisfactory police clearance will be requested (must be within 30 days of hire date).
Where required, students must provide, at their own expense, CSA (Green Patch) safety shoes or boots.
Work clothing must be worn in accordance with the standards set by the hiring department.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the Corporation must be worn as per training and task requirements.
Assigned online health and safety training is to be completed prior to starting work.
