The Psychology Instructor position is full time, tenure track position.Located in the Finger Lakes region in Canandaigua, NY, the College is in an area known for its beautiful natural surroundings, including Canandaigua Lake, exquisite fall foliage, and local wineries and micro-breweries. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Psychology or related field required; PhD, PsyD or EdD preferred. Prior experience teaching college-level psychology required; community college teaching experience preferred. Ability to teach research methods, and developmental psychology courses as well as introductory psychology preferred. Familiarity with learning management software preferred. Commitment to and ability to integrate the priorities of social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion into classroom instruction required.2. Essential Functions: A. Provide classroom instruction to studentsB. Provide academic advisement through student meetings, evaluations and assessment of advisees’ academic programsC. Serve on college committeesD. Participate in curriculum development activitiesE. Maintain office hours and be available to students as needed and as stated in the bargaining agreementF. Participate in professional growth and development activitiesG. Attend commencement and professional workshop days as defined by the college calendarH.
