Job Number: Department: Orthopedics – Outpatient Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm Our Orthopedics and sports medicine clinic has a new opening for a full time Outpatient Clinic RN. Our orthopedic specialists treat a wide variety of conditions, and our surgeons perform nearly 1,000 joint surgeries annually.
Patients we care forinclude: Total Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, Podiatry, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Hand-Related conditions , Bone Tumors and Limb Reconstruction.

The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse includes:
- Coordinating and facilitating quality management of a broad based outpatient population across the continuum of care.
Providing skilled phone, virtual and in person triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources
Supporting the care team in the provision of patient care.
Providing patient advice
Assisting in prioritizing daily work of the clinic
Providing direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistants clinical competency.
Current Washington State licensure as an RN
CPR certification is required every two years
Bachelors of Science of Nursing
Strong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records
Ideal candidates will have background and experience in providing in-person, phone and virtual patient triage, assessment andcare
Strong time managementskills are crucial to managingthe variety of daily work
Passion for educating the patient in preparationfor successful surgical outcomes
