What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll identify and implement process improvements that enhance experience and generate the right kind of cost saving initiatives. As a Process Engineer co-op, you’ll use your experience and direct feedback to improve the quality of key processes that impact our services. You’ll work closely with the teams and business and assist in the planning, development, and implementation of a process strategy that will build the operations team of the future.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
Involv ing key business and IT stakeholders to clarify the process, document it and participate in process definition a s well as for testing (User Acceptance post improvements )

Assess ing the process landscape, sorting processes by feasibility and potential for automation

Estimat ing benefits for automation & perform capacity analysis

Assessing current processes, identify areas of application for automation and document a comprehensive solution with help from SME’s

Represent ing SRE team and liaison between technical personnel and non-technical personnel

Involved in the technical design and solutioning

Championing the usage and deployment of automation frameworks and act as a change agent in their adoption

Communicating outcomes to promote Intelligent Automation and Business Process transformation

This role is a combination of 40% process analysis , 40% technical writ ing and 20% reporting and analytics.

How You’ll Succeed

Leadership Skills – You will have knowledge of various facilitation techniques and be able facilitate meetings with large groups (10+) of stakeholders (with varying and conflicting opinions) to achieve desired outcomes

Problem Solving – You think in structured way when solving problems and organizing work and can analyze data/situations fully and accurately to guide or reach productive decisions.

Task Achievement – You have knowledge and understanding of Project Management tools, methodologies and principles and can plan, prioritize and organize work based on available resources/constraints.

Interpersonal Relations – You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to communicate/present clearly and concisely using good examples or illustrations to explain things. You will have knowledge of various techniques to convince others and build support for process improvement recommendations.

Must have

Currently enrolled in a College or University program in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems , Business Technology Management or related program

Passion for excellence in IT Services and Automation

Familiar with AGILE and Waterfall methodologies

ITIL knowledge & experience

Know ledge & experience working with managed services

Superior analytical skills

Knowledge of tools like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Lucid charts, Power BI would be an asset

Nice to haves

Experience with Artificial Intelligence or machine learning based technologies

In depth experience in the full lifecycle of automation solution implementation
