Volunteer Creative Studio Manager Job in London at Cancer Education UK –

Cancer Education UK is a registered charity based in the UK, whereby we focus on raising awareness about cancer within the Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugees (BAMER) communities by holding teaching sessions around the different boroughs of London. In these sessions, we teach people from BAMER communities about signs and symptoms of cancer, encourage them to attend screening programmes under the NHS such as cervical screening which has low attendances from these group of people, offer free support to attend screening appointments, allow them to ask any questions, we encourage people from these background to talk about cancer more confidently and de-stigmatizes cancer being contagious or a death sentence.

We provide any form of support for people from these backgrounds who are going through cancer treatments either by helping with attending appointments like chemotherapy or radiotherapy, assistance with grocery shopping and many more. We currently provide free physiotherapy for all our patients. We also help women who have had one breast or both breasts removed by helping them feel more confident and help re-integrate them back into the community and workplace.

A creative studio manager exists to provide support and management to a design team while communicating with the team on projects.
