Technology Aspect
To establish a clear duty of care, Stellar Virtual and its affiliates require all employees to cover the costs associated with acquiring and providing the equipment (i.e., computers, internet service, telephone, home office setup, etc.) associated with virtual employment.

Essential Duties and Qualifications

Ensure seamless transition for students from Registration approved to a first log-in.
Monitor which students have logged in at the beginning of each Cohort and continue to reach out until log in is successful
Contact parents through talk, text, and email to let them know their student needs to log in
Help to ensure all students log on and understand all platforms
Communicate with academic team members once the student logs in to ensure a smooth transition into courses
Follow Attendance App data and update student’s attendance on the App, if applicable
Maintain, process, and archive data related to attendance and student data
Follow procedures as outlined in the partner district’s attendance handbook and is applicable with virtual schools

Education & Certification Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Knowledge of rules, and state regulations regarding attendance accounting procedures preferred
Knowledge of basic audit procedures preferred

Independent Contract Agreement Details

This is a contract position (1099-SE, Self-Employed) with no set hours.
Contractors will work remotely from their locations.
