Position Summary

The Account Manager for the Sanford Education Programs is responsible for the external outreach efforts and professional development and support of participating teachers for Harmony SEL and Inspire Teaching & Learning programs.

The Account Manager is responsible for proactively developing, growing, and retaining strategic, long-term partnerships with new and existing clients within an assigned geography or industry vertical. This individual will be responsible for working with and building relationships with select group of clients and prospective clients to ensure clients are dealt with professionally, effectively, with team members to reach and maintain revenue goals and at the same time promote the SEC/NU System mission, vision, and values to the company and to its employees.  The Account Manager will deliver ongoing collaboration to ensure a strong implementation and commitment to Sanford Programs.  May utilize modules, webinars, and other media to incorporate teaching and learning methodologies.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop relationships with K-12 superintendents, principals, and teachers to encourage their adoption and purchase of the Harmony program within a defined market and geographic region. The Account Manager will establish strategic partnerships with organizations, national teachers’ organizations, school districts, charter schools, educational foundations, and youth development organizations to promote Sanford Harmony.
  • Responsible for securing the sale of Harmony programs and contract (MOU or sales contract) for select accounts and for managing the onboarding of the account within their defined market and geographic region. Collaborate with organizations, schools and districts providing customized implementation and training plans that support the Harmony program.
  • Employ effective virtual communication in writing, on virtual platforms to communicate a sales presentation and to deliver training.
  • Communicate biweekly progress on goal to quota, develop quarterly business plans, and maintain relationships with new and existing partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and reach goals, self-motivated; goal and client service oriented; professional image and demeanor. Possess the drive to connect with people, helping individuals obtain a quality learning experience.
  • Candidate must be able to communicate and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Requires the ability to work with broad parameters and with little supervision; demonstrated ability to initiate, conceptualize and complete projects with little oversight.
  • Additional duties to support the field team and clients as assigned.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, required or equivalent combination of education and experience.; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of experience promoting and implementing educational program
  • Demonstrable experience in developing relationships with education leaders from Pre-K-12 and higher education. Proven track record of successful of achievement of assigned goals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills are necessary, as is the ability to represent SEC/NU professionally and credibly within the System community and throughout the community-at-large.
  • Experience in teacher education and educational administration preferred.
  • Evidence of experience in planning and implementing school-based professional development.

  • Ability to drive towards achieving measurable and challenging goals to support organizational success. Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.  Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency. Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $65,621.00 - $75,427.00
